The ruler

How to read the 1-to-9 scale

Every scored item gets a whole number from 1 to 9, and the ruler is the same across all fourteen sections. 5 is balance, and the distance from it is the information the score carries — simple enough for you to take in on the first read and to recognize the same format in every collection that follows.

  • 1 and 2 — hypofunction: the system appears to be working slowly.
  • 3 — trending toward deficit.
  • 4 to 6 — physiological range, with 5 at the best point.
  • 7 — trending toward excess.
  • 8 and 9 — hyperfunction, an inflammatory picture.

The legend with these five lines is printed inside the document itself, so the ruler travels with the result into the clinical record.

hypofunctionbalancehyperfunction

The four columns on every item

  • Stimulation — the score from this collection.
  • Callback — the score from the immediately previous collection for the same person under care, and a dash on the first one.
  • Change — the direction between the two, when the difference exceeds the margin of that collection.
  • Confidence — says, item by item, what this collection reached: you work with what has grounding, and leave the rest for the next collection.

The four columns sit side by side on the same row, across all fourteen sections. Learn to read one row and you have learned to read the whole report.

The ruler in one sentence

The ready answer to the question that always comes

When they ask what the score means, the sentence is already printed in the document — and it is the same one you use to put the result in context during the session.

…describes how the systems were functioning at the moment the voice was recorded — whether slow, balanced or accelerated. It is a reading of use, not of quantity: it says whether the body appears to be making good use of what it has.

Text from the report itself

Two practical consequences follow from that, and both are worth saying out loud. A score of 3 on “Vitamin D” speaks to the apparent use of that pathway, and blood levels stay with the laboratory. And the decision on any course of action is yours, taken with the clinical information you have at hand.

Real counts

The numbers add up

The figures below come from running the scoring engine itself and checking the result. We publish the sum because someone is going to add it up.

Catalog total761,075

Out of the 1,075-item catalog, each report scores around 1,045 indicators in a male collection and around 1,052 in a female one: groups and items of sex-specific anatomy go into the report of the matching sex — Male Reproductive System, Male Reproductive Functions, prostate and PSA on one side; the female equivalents, uterus, estradiol and FSH on the other. The total for each collection also varies with how much of that reading came through, which is why it comes out as “around”.

Meridians and chakras come in as flat lists

Both categories arrive with no subgroups, item by item — which is why the middle column adds up to 76 across eight categories.

On screen, each one opens as a short list, the right size to run through aloud at the end of the session.

Genetic References sit outside the total

It is 363 cataloged conditions, presented as reading reference and with no scores. That is why they sit outside the total: adding them would inflate the number by a third, and the scored catalog remains 1,075.

The full walkthrough

The 14 sections

In the order they appear on screen. Fifteen blocks for fourteen content sections: the Integrative Analysis Scale travels along as the legend for the ruler. And Change since the last analysis comes in from the second collection onward for the same person under care.

1 · Change since the last analysis

In session: open here on a return visit. This is the section that turns two one-off appointments into follow-up.

Compares this collection with the previous one for the same person under care, item by item, and separates what got worse, what persisted, what is improving, what is new and what changed direction. It appears from the second collection onward.

2 · Peak Summary — the therapist's read

In session: this is the section you read aloud. The rest are there for looking things up, when the conversation calls for the detail.

The overview before the detail: how many indicators landed in hypofunction (1–2), how many in hyperfunction (8–9), how many at the extremes (1 or 9), and whether the picture pulls low, high or mixed. The peaks come grouped by block and by category.

It is the shortcut that hands you the first sentence of the session in ten seconds of reading, with the detail of a thousand-odd indicators waiting just below.

3 · Integrative Analysis Scale

In session: it travels with the printout and with the PDF. The ruler stays filed with the result, and the read of the next collection starts from the same point.

The legend for the 1-to-9 ruler, printed inside the document, with the three reading pointers: how the score reads, from what difference onward two collections are worth comparing, and what an excess of extreme scores usually says about the recording.

4 · Functional Assessment Result — AI analysis

In session: it is the input for your decision. You are the one who signs off on what gets done.

The integrative read in running text, in 11 fixed sections, written for another health professional and ending in 6 to 8 numbered recommendations. The breakdown is just below.

5 · Inner Voice Report

In session: it is the most visual part of the document — the one that shows, at a glance, that a signal was recorded, before you even get into the detail of the scores.

The bars of the recording, the 12 musical notes from C to B with the energy of each, the dominant note, the suppressed note and the average frequency of that recording.

6 · Out-of-Range Indicators — Vital Report

In session: it is the content of one of the two exportable CSV files — the one you file in the record of the person under care.

Gathers in one place everything that fell outside the 4-to-6 range, from any section, with the current score and the previous one. It is the short list left after a thousand-odd indicators.

7 · Food Sensitivities

In session: use it as a hypothesis to check, alongside the symptoms and the eating routine the person under care reports.

210 foods in 11 categories: Spices and Herbs 43, Vegetables 37, Fruits 32, Seafood 24, Dairy 15, Grains and Cereals 14, Legumes 13, Nuts 11, Meats 7, Seeds 7 and Other 7. Each row carries the food, its category, the score from this collection, the previous score, the change and the status.

Read this before using this section. This section is informational and is not an allergy test. Food allergy is a risk condition and requires assessment by an allergy specialist. Nothing here should prompt the removal of a food without proper professional follow-up.

8 · Chakras — energetic balance

In session: this is the vocabulary of integrative practice. Use it when the person under care already speaks that language.

Seven centers: Crown, Third Eye, Throat, Heart, Solar Plexus, Sacral/Navel and Root. Each with the score from this collection, the previous score and a description ready to read aloud.

9 · Meridians — traditional Chinese medicine

In session: cross-check it against your own pulse or palpation assessment. The report comes in as a record alongside it.

Fourteen: Lung, Large Intestine, Stomach, Spleen, Heart, Small Intestine, Bladder, Kidney, Pericardium, Triple Burner, Gallbladder, Liver, Governing Vessel and Conception Vessel. Each with the current score, the previous score and the change, in the same format as the other sections.

10 · Organs and Systems

In session: open by group. There are 21 drawers, and one of them usually answers the question of the day.

The largest scored section: 283 items in 21 groups. Eye 23, Skin 21, Chest Muscles 21, Digestive Organs 20, Rectal Wall 20, Lymphatic System 17, Liver (cellular detail) 15, Stomach 15, Neck and Throat 14, Small Intestine Wall 13, Meninges 13, Kidney (cross-section) 12, Heart 12, Pancreas (ducts) 11, Female Reproductive 11, Male Reproductive 10, Blood Cells 9, Liver Vessels 7, Pancreas (cross-section) 7, Thyroid 7 and Urinary System 5.

11 · Muscles and Connective Tissue

In session: useful as a starting point for a conversation about load and posture, together with the pain the person under care reports.

42 items in 7 groups: Torso 8, Spinal Connective Tissue 8, Shoulder 6, Leg 6, Back and Spine 5, Joint Connective Tissue 5 and Arm 4. The read distinguishes right from left wherever the structure is paired.

12 · Complete Nutritional Analysis

In session: go back over the ruler before opening this section. Here the score speaks to apparent use, and blood levels stay with the laboratory.

109 items in 9 groups: Amino Acids 19, Vitamins and Coenzymes 17, Digestive Acids and Enzymes 15, Blood Count 15, Blood Lipids 14, Trace Minerals 13, Macrominerals 7, Omega-3 6 and Omega-6 3.

13 · Physical and Hormonal Function

In session: this is the section that speaks most to the medical follow-up the person under care already brings. Take it as a parallel read.

241 items in 20 groups: Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular 25, Bone and Muscle Condition 20, Hormones (mood, sex, sleep, stress) 19, Liver and Gallbladder Function 18, Nervous System and Brain 16, Immune System 14, Male Reproductive 13, Female Reproductive 13, Collagen Index 11, Endocrine Glands 11, Insulin Resistance 11, Pancreatic Glycemic Control 10, Gastrointestinal 10, Inflammation and Oxidation 10, Skin Index 9, Thyroid Function 7, Eye Health 7, Basic Physical Function 7, Kidney Function 6 and Lung Function 4.

14 · Load and Exposure Indicators

In session: this one is your read, always with the context of the case alongside. The score describes how the body appears to handle each family of load.

169 items in 8 groups: Bacterial Diseases 34, Parasites 33, Pollens and Allergens 26, Human Toxins 18, Heavy Metals 16, Fungi 15, Viruses 15 and Molds and Mildew 12.

An integrative read: each indicator comes in as a working hypothesis, and never as confirmation that a substance or an agent is present in the body.

15 · Genetic References

In session: open it when family history comes into the conversation. The box below frames the whole section, and is worth reading first.

363 conditions cataloged, in an informational section built on references from the integrative catalog. It is the section the report carries with no score — which is why it sits outside the 1,075 catalog items and the ~1,045 assessed per collection.

Read this before using this section. This section is informational and not scored. No genetic material is analyzed, no gene is sequenced, and nothing here is genetic testing or genetic counseling.

Section 4, in detail

The integrative read comes already written

Every collection comes out with a running text in 11 fixed sections, always in the same order and in the interface language — Portuguese, Spanish or English. The time you used to spend writing the document goes back into reading the case.

The 11 sections, always in this order

  1. General Energy Profile
  2. Digestive and Hepatic System
  3. Cardiovascular and Circulatory
  4. Nervous and Mental
  5. Hormonal and Endocrine Balance
  6. Immune
  7. Nutrition and Metabolism
  8. Toxic Load and Detoxification
  9. Emotional and Energetic Aspects
  10. Synthesis and Central Hypothesis
  11. Integrative Recommendations — 6 to 8 of them, numbered, each justified by the finding that prompted it

Written for whoever will use it

The persona is fixed: the text is written for another health professional. It assumes technical vocabulary and gets straight to the point, the way you would read a colleague's document.

Declared references

The bases are Guyton & Hall (homeostasis and integrated physiology), the orthomolecular approach, Giulia Enders (the gut as an immune and hormonal center) and the LCHF school. These are the references that guide the writing, so you know in advance what language the text arrives in.

You are the one who signs off

The 6 to 8 recommendations arrive as working material for the professional applying the system. What reaches the person under care goes through you.

Export or print to keep the writing. The AI text is generated at the moment of the collection and lives on screen: the scores are recorded in the database, and the writing leaves with you in the PDF or in the printout.

What leaves Biovoxis for the model provider: the name of the person being assessed, age, biological sex, height, weight, BMI and the section scores. The audio does not go to the AI model provider — and it is not stored in Biovoxis either. The recording is processed and discarded within the same session; what remains are the frequency data and the scores, in the record of the person under care. The full list of sub-processors is in the Privacy Policy, and that transfer must be covered by the consent you obtain before the collection.

The part almost nobody publishes

Every report states the margin of its own measurement

On the same screen as the scores, the document says how much of that reading came through and what the margin of that collection is. You know what is real change and what is recording variation before you turn the reading into a course of action.

How much of the reading came through

The report states the yield of that collection, and the Confidence column repeats the information item by item. You comment on what has grounding and know, on the spot, when it is worth repeating the recording under better conditions.

The minimum detectable change

Each collection comes out with its own margin printed. Differences below it appear flagged in the comparison — and the return conversation comes to turn on what actually moved.

The caveat comes printed alongside

When the margin of that collection comes with a caveat, the document spells it out in full, next to the scores. The material supporting your read arrives with its own limits already declared.

What an excess of extreme scores indicates

A high proportion of extreme scores usually says more about the recording than about the person: a noisy room, a distant microphone or unsuitable equipment shift the whole reading. In that case the way forward is to repeat the collection under good conditions before taking the result as a finding.

Text from the report itself

The guidance is printed in the document, together with the ruler. It is the kind of caveat that usually stays in the experienced professional's head — here it stays on paper, next to the scores that prompted it.

What that changes on the return visit

With the margin printed, the second session stops depending on memory. The Change section and the comparison screen flag what stayed within the margin and highlight what went beyond it, item by item.

  • You show the difference instead of describing it.
  • The history stays in the record of the person under care and carries the return conversation.
  • Follow-up becomes a reason to return, and each session adds to the one before.

The association between the voice recording and organs, meridians, chakras, nutrients or load and exposure indicators has references that come from the literature of the integrative field itself. See how it works, from booking to the report.

Document output

What comes out of each collection

Three formats, all generated on the spot, all in the interface language. They go out when you say so: what leaves the room is your call.

Comprehensive Report (CSV)

Every assessed item of the collection, with the current score, the previous score, the change and the confidence. This is the file to archive and to compare later in a spreadsheet, your way.

Vital Report (CSV)

Only what fell outside the 4-to-6 range. It is the short version, the one that fits in the clinical record in a few lines and saves you the typing.

PDF via the browser's print function

The full report, with the scale legend and the integrative read, comes out through your own browser's print function — ready to file in the clinical record and to support the follow-up.

In all three formats, the report's notice footer travels with the scores — on screen, in print and in the PDF.

Optional add-on, purchased separately

Diathesis Questionnaire

The biological terrain questionnaire, which runs alongside the voice report. It is 133 questions in 19 sections, split into two blocks: General Assessment, with 32 questions, and Organs and Systems, with 101.

The nine scoring columns

Each answer adds to one or more of these columns:

  • Diathesis I — Mn
  • Diathesis II — Mn-Cu
  • Diathesis III — Mn-Co
  • Diathesis IV — Cu-Au-Ag
  • Support elements — I, S and Zn, one column each
  • Maladaptation syndromes — Zn-Cu and Zn-Ni-Co

There is also a tenth column, Miscellaneous, which converts into suggested trace elements. It is visible only to the therapist and sits outside the scoring of the diatheses.

Nine of the 133 questions come in only as context for the therapist's read, on purpose. The totals stay on your side.

Two ways to fill it in

You fill it in during the appointment, or you send a link for the person under care to answer beforehand — and you arrive at the session with the terrain already mapped. The link is valid for 30 days.

The contact fields the person being assessed fills in are phone number with area code (required), city, state and a free-text field of up to 4,000 characters for medications and supplements currently in use.

Version history

Every meaningful change creates a new version of the questionnaire in the database. You compare one filling with the next and see what changed between them, session by session.

Add-on price

R$ 19.90 per month, R$ 97.00 on the six-month plan or R$ 147.00 on the annual plan — amounts in Brazilian reais (BRL), purchased outside the plan and with no lock-in. See the full grid.

The Diathesis Questionnaire is a biological terrain questionnaire, and the name is literal: the columns add up the answers given in the questionnaire itself and point to suggested trace elements for your read. For precision of vocabulary, it is not a clinical intake interview.

Read a whole report before you decide

Describing fourteen sections is one thing; opening all fourteen is another. The sample report is public, complete and opens straight away. If a question is still left after that, it probably deserves a conversation.
